Do you accept cash payments?

Yes, South Shore Harbor Resort and Conference Center allows cash payments upon checkout only. We require a credit card at check in to have on file to cover the room rate, tax, and incidentals for the entire stay. If you pay cash at checkout, it will take 3-10 business days for the authorization to release from your credit card.

What is your cancellation policy?

Reservations must be cancelled (72) Seventy-two hours prior to your arrival by 3:00pm local time to avoid a penalty of first night’s room and tax.

How close are we to Galveston?

South Shore Harbour Resort is located 30 minutes outside of downtown Galveston.

How close are we to Kemah?

We are a 5 minute drive from the Kemah Boardwalk.

How far away are we from the airport?

The closest airports to us are Hobby Airport, HOU, (20 miles) and George Bush Intercontinental Airport, IAH, (47 miles).

How close are we to NASA?

NASA is very close by, only 10 minutes from the hotel.

Do we have a gym?

Yes we do! The South Shore Harbour Fitness Center is available to guests, but not on site.

Is the pool heated?

No it isn’t. But the pool is open year round for swimming; weather permitting of course. To learn more about the Oasis pool, visit www.sshr.com/oasis-pool.

What time and when do you have live entertainment?

We have a DJ at the Oasis pool starting Memorial Day weekend thru Labor Day weekend, Saturday & Sunday .

Are we pet friendly?

Our hotel only allows service animals.

Is there a boat launch?

We do not have a boat launch. However, the closest one is under the FM 270 bridge; which is 5 minutes from the property.

Do we offer Sunday Brunch?

Yes, our brunch is served on Sundays from 10am to 1pm, and on most Sundays we have Live Music.
